ŠIPON (FURMINT) – We are honored to present šipon, a traditional, indigenous variety from our wine-growing region. The name originates from Napoleonic times when Napoleon’s soldiers marched through our villages and praised the wine with the words “Si bon!” (It is good!). The wine is characterized by a pleasant freshness, while in its aroma you can feel a touch of citrus and apples. Šipon is distinguished by a rich flavor.
